•Worcester-area musician Sam James announced on Facebook that his first single, “Words to Life,” will be out Sept. 28. It’s been a long road to this release from his time working with Maroon 5’s Adam Levine on the TV singing competition “The Voice,” which included getting in and out of a contract with Konvict Muzik, the label owned by hip-hop artist Akon. James debuted songs from his forthcoming album, “Stories from the Valley,” earlier this year at Electric Haze in Worcester
